Camille Theobald

Camille was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. At 10 years old she told her first joke in front of a crowd, at a biker bar, in a joke telling competition to win a pleather jacket…..she won that Harley Davidson jacket with pride. But her love for performing became serious at age 13 when she started dancing competitively. In 2007 she moved to New York City to pursue performing as a career and graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in 2009. Even though her initial dream was to become the next Britney Spears, making fun of Britney was a lot more fun.

As a stand up comedian she has competed in the Stand Up Comedy 360 Festival, New Yorks best New Comic Compeition, performed at Eastville Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Stand Up New York, Ochi’s Lounge at Comix and Bars around the city. Her material ranges from Mormons to AA.
She is also a Stage and Film Actor. From 2009 to 2011 she performed with Project Girl Performance Collective. A group of girls speaking up about the pressures we face today. PGPC has done sold out shows at a New Jersey State Regional Theatre, 2010 New York International Fringe Festival,  Estrogenius festival (’09 and ’10), and The United Nations for the Childrens Rights Convention.

Whether in front of the camera or on stage her goal is to portray a true character and tell a great story.
