Alaska Wows, NYC Welcomes us back!

Hey all. It’s sure getting cold out, but, after coming back from 6 days at the excellent Anchorage International Film Festival, any other weather feels like summer (I’m exaggerating, but not really.)

I had such a great time, watching “Films Worth Freezing For”.

Great events, great talks, lots of food, stunning views, and very fun day trips for the filmmakers. I even took Shoe with me to the Matanuska Glacier. It was stunning, and cold.

I feel very lucky for having been there, and very pampered by the festival and this beautiful community which filled the theater even at a 10 AM screening on Saturday.

Thanks, Anchorage! I really hope to come back!

Also just a quick announcement – Our first festival of 2026!

We will be back for another NYC screening at the Winter Film Fest, which takes place 2/18-2/22, so as soon as I have screening details they will be on our screening page.

Very excited to get another home screening, and hope to see many familiar faces there!

More soon, like, oh, I don’t know, shooting a film next month!

Have a peaceful holiday season, everyone!
