Streamys***Steam Clock – Audience Favorite!***The Bar Series*** Crossover Games***MTV

Hey guys! It’s been a while, and mostly because I’ve been really distracted with work.

But here are a few updates.

First, a few ongoing things, and then on to the new.

The deadline for fan submissions to the Streamys, was extended and is now through November 30th. If you have a Twitter, feel free to suggest us : )

See below the two categories you can help us with!

Speaking of Hit the MARC, we still owe you 4 more episodes and a few minisodes. It’s gonna take the two more months or so, but you’ll get them. We’re all a bit pre-occupied.

Yesterday marked one year since we filmed “Steam Clock”, which was one of the best experiences for me thus far, and I got to share it with Constanza Palavecino, whom you know as Pillar from Hit the MARC.

What a better way to celebrate than the fact that it won the Audience Favorite award at this year’s ShockerFest in California!

Check out the trailer and the sci-fi schedule here.

The film is also being broadcast on Comcast 195 every night until the end of the month. More details on KAZV-TV website.

Earlier in October, episode 4 of “The Bar Series”, a really cool new webseries, was released.

I filmed this episode in January and it was fun to see the result.

You can check it out below, and watch the rest of the episodes too!

At the end of August, I got to work with Rosario Pellerito (the director of “The Bar Series”)once again, on a pilot called “Rush Call”. One of the starts is the lovely Khaled Ouaaz who was my co-star on Cerberus. Watch this space for more updates about the project!

I spent the majority of September in Israel, and while I was there, I got to film a little guest appearance for the project “The Crossover Games”. An original feature, combining the Big Brother concept, with characters from different fandoms. It was a blast.

The production was amazing, premiered at the Icon Festival in Tel Aviv, had 4 sold out nights as part of the festival, and was later shown in one of the biggest cinemas in Tel Aviv.

Here’s the website (though I must warn you, it’s in Hebrew).

And lastly, a picture of the entire cast and crew just moments before the premiere.

When I got back to NYC mid October, I got lucky enough to shoot a commercial for MTV.

Be on the lookout for a girl with dreadlocks jumping in slow motion. It was a lot of fun. Got to do some green screen work, jump on a trampoline and meet lovely people.

That very same week, I filmed a few scenes for “The Nautical Adventure of Captain Sqns in NYC”. I got to work again with the lovely Camille Theobald, a dear friend, who also directed “Hit the MARC” and had a few guest appearances. We got to kayak together in the waters of Brooklyn, close to Coney Island.

Cast and crew were absolutely lovely, and it was a great day.

They already screened their pilot a few months back, right here in NYC, so watch this space for more updates.

These days I’m totally committing my time, for the second year in a row, to LinCommunication, and the Iranian American Jewish Federation of New York, as we’re preparing for their annual gala. 1000 people, at the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Arts Center, NYC, at the end of November.

They are a wonderful group of people, and the artistic process of producing this thing is as amazing as it was last year.

That’s it! Promise to update more often so we don’t end up with crazy lengthed posts again!

Have a lovely week!

*** Hit the MARC present and future *** Steam Clock *** Site Application *** New Pics and Vids!

On November, I got to take part in an amazing production called “Steam Clock”. The silent short film, which is sort of a Sci-Fi thriller, was shot in 2 days at Staten Island, NY NY, with an amazing cast (included Hit the MARC’s Pillar, aka Constanza Palavecino, an amazing performer and friend) and amazing crew from the New York Film Academy. The movie was directed by the incredibly talented Thomas Della Bella, who also built the entire set on his own. Hopefully you’ll get to see the movie shortly! I saw it on a big screen and it looks great. You can check out pics in the new “Steam Clock” gallery, and see couple of examples just below. It was an amazing experience with great people and I feel very blessed that I got to take part in it.

Thanks to a wonderful friend who also built this website, you can now get updates to your very own smart phone! All you need to do is download the Chen Drachman application (Yes, I know…) to your phone and you’re good to go! To download, click here from your smart phone, or just search “Chen Drachman” on the market/the Iphone variation of that. : ) Make sure you go to the application’s settings and turn on the notifications option!

It’s quite cool, and guess what? Totally free 🙂

Many galleries were updated, including “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and “Buffy’s Once More With

feeling”.

In addition, a gallery was opened for “Knock B4 Entering”, a drama showcase, and for “A Day To Remember”, a musical showcase.

Speaking of the above, video of the scene from “Knock B4 Entering” is now on Youtube, as is a video of “Frank Mills” from “A Day To Remember”.

Feel free to watch by clicking the show’s name above!

Last but not least, the song “All That Comes and Goes”, which was written based on a text by the incredibly talented Alejandro Moscoso, was added to the Song Writing section!

Enjoy and have a wonderful holidays season!
